CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – No. 23 Harvard women's lacrosse is set to open the 2024 Ivy tournament tomorrow against No. 8 Yale in New Haven in its first-round matchup. Coming off a thriller with No. 18 Princeton in the regular season finale, the Crimson will look to advance to the Ivy Tournament Championship game for the first time since 2011.
WHAT TO KNOW
SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS
- The semi-final matchup marks the second time this season the Crimson has played in Reese Stadium after falling to its Ivy rival earlier in the season by a score of 16-8.
- Finishing the regular season with a record of 13-2, the Bulldogs have won four of their last five with the only loss coming at the hands of No. 12 Denver via a score of 12-11.
- Going a perfect 7-0 in conference play, Yale outscored its opponents 107-48 in their Ivy slate this season.
- It their last outing, Yale defeated Columbia 18-5 after scoring 12 of their goals in the first half to claim sole possession of the Ivy title.
- Jenna Collignon leads the Bulldogs in scoring this season after netting 44 goals and adding four assists while both Sky Carrasquillo and Fallon Vaughn both have 44 points each.
LAST TIME OUT
- Riley Campbell and Callie Hem scored a combined five goals in the game – including a Campbell goal with less than thirty seconds left to send the game to overtime.
- The Crimson went on three 3-goal runs in the game.
- The Crimson finished the Ivy slate by going 4-3 in conference play.

PERSONAL MILESTONES
- Maddie Barkate broke her personal record (102) after another 10 draw control wins over Princeton to finish the regular season with 111 on the campaign. No player since 2004 has recorded more in a single season after Barkate broke her own record.
- Recording 231 in 50 career games played, Barkate sits in third all-time in the Ivy League record book.
