Football to Appear Twice on ESPN Linear TV in 2024

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard Football is scheduled to make a pair of linear television appearances on the ESPN Family of Networks during the 2024 campaign. The Crimson will make its season debut at Cornell, before playing in front of a national audience vs. Yale in the 140th playing of The Game.

Harvard will open the Ivy League's linear TV package against the Big Red on Friday, Oct. 11, on ESPNU. Kickoff in Ithaca, New York, which was originally set for Oct. 12, is slated for 6 p.m. ET.

The Crimson will then make its annual ESPN Networks appearance against the Bulldogs on Saturday, Nov. 23. Kickoff time and TV network, however, have yet to be determined. The Game, meanwhile, will take place at Harvard Stadium for just the second time since 2016.

The 2024 season will mark the sixth straight campaign in which the Crimson have had multiple games appear on ESPN linear channels and the third consecutive year in which it has competed against Cornell and Yale on national television.

Harvard's other eight games, including its season opener vs. Stetson on Sept. 21, will air live on ESPN+.

The Crimson, which will be led by first-year Thomas Stephenson Family Head Coach for Harvard Football Andrew Aurich in 2024, is coming off a 2023 campaign in which it posted an 8-2 record and won its 18th Ivy League championship after going 5-2 against Ancient Eight competition.
