Women’s Ice Hockey Announces 2024-25 Schedule

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – With the 2024-25 season rapidly approaching, the Harvard women's ice hockey program has announced its upcoming schedule. The 29-game slate features 13 home games at the Bright-Landry Hockey Center and eight exciting non-conference matchups including two games in the 2025 Women's Beanpot Tournament.

The Crimson's season is set to begin on Saturday October 19 with a non-conference battle against the University of Connecticut. The regional foes will renew their rivalry for the first time since 2014-15 when they meet on the ice at the Bright Landry Hockey Center.

A trip to Union and RPI (Oct. 25-26) will kick off Harvard's ECAC schedule before the team returns home to host Yale and Brown (Nov. 1-2) and Princeton and Quinnipiac (Nov. 8-9) in back-to-back ECAC series at the Bright Landry Hockey Center. After a trip to Colgate and Cornell (Nov. 15-16), Harvard will renew another rivalry with a regional foe when it takes on Providence in a home-and-home series on Nov. 21-22. After a week off for the Thanksgiving holiday, the team will complete the first half of its schedule with a trip to the North Country to battle St. Lawrence and Clarkson (Dec. 6-7).

The Crimson's second-half opens with a home and away matchup against Dartmouth (Jan. 3-4) followed by a trip to Orono, Maine to battle the University of Maine (Jan. 10-11). The 2025 Women's Beanpot Tournament is set to begin on Tuesday, Jan. 14 with the semifinal round at Northeastern where Harvard will take on the Boston U. Terriers. Between Beanpot contests, the Crimson will host RPI and Union (Jan. 17-18) at the Bright-Landry Hockey Center. The Beanpot will be returning to the TD Garden for the second season when the consolation and championship games are played on the Boston Bruins' home ice Jan. 21.

Colgate and Cornell will come into Bright-Landry to battle the Crimson in Jan. 24-25 before the team hits the road for a four-game away stretch. The trip will take Harvard to Quinnipiac and Princeton (Jan. 31-Feb. 1) and then to Brown and Yale (Feb. 7-8). The final weekend of the season will see Harvard take on Clarkson and St. Lawrence inside its home rink on Feb. 14-15. The ECAC Tournament will begin with the first round on Feb. 22 followed by the quarterfinal series from Feb. 28-Mar. 2. The ECAC Tournament semifinals and championship game will take place on Mar. 7 and 8 where the league's automatic qualifier for the NCAA Tournament will be decided.
