Henley Semifinal Loss Ends Historic Season for the Men's Lightweights

HENELY-ON-THAMES, England –– Harvard men's lightweight rowing closed out its Henley Royal Regatta trip with a loss to Oxford 'A' in the semifinal of the Temple Challenge Cup.

The varsity eight was within two longboats but could not prevail. The boat consisted of Anya Cheng (Cox), James Stevenson, Ben Lundie, Brahm Erdmann, Zarret Mills, Preston Darling, Ryan McCarthy, Alex Forbes, and Kyle Sutherland.

The Crimson ended the week with three wins, including against La Salle, St. Edwards, and Amsterdamsche Studenten Roeivereeniging Nereus 'A', Netherlands.

This will end an impressive season for the Crimson men's lightweight team, capping off a year in which the team won Eastern Sprints and IRA Championships.
