Men’s Golf Announces 2024 Fall Schedule

CAMBRIDGE, Mass – Harvard Men's Golf is excited to announce its four-tournament schedule for the 2024 Fall season. With a challenging slate of events lined up, the Crimson is poised to build on a successful previous season and showcase its talent on some of the region's best golf courses.

The 2024 season will begin when the Crimson returns to Bethpage Golf Club to compete in the St. John's Doc Gimmler. The team has had success at this tournament in recent seasons, posting three consecutive top-three finishes, including a first place finish in the 2022 event that occurred in record-breaking fashion. Harvard will make its 14th appearance in the Doc Gimmler field when it competes in the 54-hole tournament on Sep. 16-17. The first 36 holes of the tournament will be played at Bethpage Red, with the final 18 moving over to the historic Bethpage Black Course, the host of the 2025 Ryder Cup and one of the nation's most difficult golf courses.

Two weeks later, Harvard will travel to Lake Placid, N.Y. to compete in the Columbia Invite (Sep. 28-29). The Crimson will make its first-ever appearance in the field at the Lake Placid Club.

For the second consecutive season, Harvard will play in the Hamptons Intercollegiate at the Maidstone Club. The Golf Digest Top 100 course will be the host for the Crimson and some of the nation's top teams on Oct. 7-8.

The Fall schedule will conclude on October 20 when Harvard will join Yale, Dartmouth and Seton Hall for a four-team event in Bedford Hills, N.Y. at the Glen Arbor Golf Club. The match will offer the group a final chance to sharpen its skills and make a statement before the winter break.
