CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard University men's soccer was selected to finish third in the 2024 Ivy League Men's Soccer Preseason Media Poll, the Ivy League conference office announced on Tuesday afternoon.
The Crimson took the third position behind 83 total points. Penn (115 points, seven first-place votes) and Yale (108 points, eight first-place votes) claimed the first and second spots in the poll while Cornell (80 points, one first-place vote) came in fourth. Brown (73 points), Princeton (51), Dartmouth (45), and Columbia (21) rounded out the fifth through eighth spots in the rankings respectively.
In 2023, Harvard finished second in the Ivy League standings, marking its highest finish in the conference table since 2015. The Crimson has moved up the league standings in each of the last three years from fourth in 2021 to third in 2022 to second in 2023.

Ethan Veghte, and sophomore midfielder
Erik Dalaker. The Crimson brings back 12 of its 16 student-athletes who recorded a point in 2023.
The Crimson kicks off its 2024 season with a home matchup against Holy Cross on Saturday, Aug. 31 at 5:00 p.m. (ESPN+) at Jordan Field.
