Olympic Bronze Won by Three HUBC Alumni in USA Men’s Eight

PARIS, FRANCE –– HUBC Alumni Pieter Quinton '20, Clark Dean '23, and Christian Tabash '22 win the bronze medal for Team USA in the Olympic Men's Eight Final. 

The battle was close the entire length of the 2000m between Great Britain, Netherlands, and USA. Yet despite a push in the last 500m meters, USA came in third with a time of 5.25.28.

This was the first time USA medaled in the Olympic Men's Eight since 2008 in which the boat also earned a third place finish.

Josh Hicks '13 and the Australian Eight finished 6th with a time of 5:31.79.
