Men’s Heavyweights Earn Five Empacher IRCA All-America Honors

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard Men's Heavyweight Rowing proudly celebrates five Crimson student-athletes named 2025 Empacher IRCA All-Americans. Ben Scott, Gabriel Obholzer, and Joshua Brangan earned First Team honors, while Jack Dorney and Cameron Beyki were recognized on the Second Team.

These rowers were instrumental in powering Harvard's First Varsity Eight to a landmark season, capturing the Eastern Sprints title for the first time since 2014 and finishing second at the IRA National Championship, reaffirming the program's return to the top tier of collegiate rowing.

Gabriel Obholzer earns First Team honors for the second consecutive year, highlighting his consistency and impact at the highest level. This marks a significant jump in recognition for the Crimson, who had three All-American honorees in 2024 and now celebrate five in 2025—reflecting the team's exceptional depth, leadership, and momentum heading into the future.
