CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Ahead of a highly anticipated 2024 Fall season, Harvard women's soccer standouts
Jade Rose and
Josefine Hasbo have been named United Soccer Coaches' Players to Watch at their position groups. Hasbo, a senior midfielder, and Rose, a senior defender, each earned All-American status a year ago with their remarkable season on the pitch.
A Denmark native, Hasbo returns to Harvard to play her senior season. The team's leading scorer a year ago, Hasbo totaled 26 points with 10 goals and six assists. The Danishwoman was also named First-Team All-America, First-Team All-Ivy League(Unanimously), First-Team All-East Region, the Ivy League Tournament's Most Outstanding Player and CSC All-Academic along with being named a MAC Hermann Trophy Semifinalist, making her one of the top 15 players in the nation.
The defending back-to-back Ivy League women's soccer Defender of the Year,
Jade Rose returns to the pitch to captain the Crimson squad for the second consecutive season. Rose is coming off another stellar year on the backline, where she led a defensive unit that allowed the third-fewest shots in the nation. Rose added Third-Team All-America, First Team All-Ivy League and Second-Team All-Region honors to her trophy case last season.
