Cami Kronish Joins Women’s Ice Hockey Coaching Staff

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The 2024-25 Harvard women's ice hockey coaching staff is now complete as Laura Bellamy, the Landry Family Head Coach for Harvard Women's Ice Hockey, announces the hiring of Cami Kronish, who is set to join the program as a goaltending coach. This will be Kronish's first college hockey coaching job, as she takes over all duties relating to the development of the Crimson goaltending group.

Kronish, a three-time National Champion with the University of Wisconsin. brings a wealth of collegiate playing experience with her to Cambridge. After playing professionally last season for PWHL Boston, Kronish is thrilled to be joining Coach Bellamy and the Harvard coaching staff.

"I'm super excited to join Harvard Hockey and be part of such an incredible program," said Kronish. "I look forward to working with the coaching staff, the players, and bringing trophies back to Cambridge!"

Cami's coaching journey most recently involved her serving as a Goaltending Coach with the North American Hockey Academy in Boston, where she crafted personalized training sessions and mentored aspiring goaltenders. At NAHA, Kronish focused on helping her goaltenders foster a growth-oriented mindset in order to help athletes thrive both on and off the ice.

Previously, Kronish worked at LEAD Hockey and with Chelsea Piers Connecticut. At LEAD Hockey, Cami developed engaging drills for young campers and supported her fellow coaches. During her time with Chelsea Piers Connecticut, she planned and executed practice sessions aimed at improving player skills and performance, offering individualized feedback and mentoring.

Coach Bellamy is excited to be bringing Kronish to Harvard and cannot wait to see the impact she will have on the team's goaltenders.

"We are thrilled to be adding Cami to our coaching staff," said Bellamy. "She has proven to be an elite player in women's hockey at the highest levels and in the biggest moments. Having had opportunities to coach alongside her, it is clear that she not only understands the game well but excels at communicating that knowledge effectively. Cami will help our goaltenders find their best, and we look forward to the impact she will have in moving our program forward."

Kronish owns a long list of playing accolades and honors. Along with her three National Championships, Kronsih was twice named an ACHA All-American. She also thrived academically, collecting three Dean's List honors, three Academic All-Big Ten awards, four WCHA Scholar-Athlete achievements and three Big-Ten Distinguished Scholar awards.

A 2022 graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Kronish received her bachelor's degree in communication arts and a certificate in digital studies. She went back to school to earn a Master of Science degree in sports leadership in 2023.

Now, Kronish begins a new chapter in her hockey career with the Crimson. Her and the team are already hard at work preparing for the rapidly approaching 2024-25 that is set to begin October 19 when Harvard hosts the University of Connecticut at the Bright-Landry Hockey Center.
