CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard men's lacrosse is excited to host the fourth annual Burrito Bowl scrimmage in coordination with Team IMPACT this weekend. The Crimson is set to welcome six Team IMPACT athletes to Harvard Stadium to enjoy the first-ever Team IMPACT Carnival and watch the Crimson compete on the field in its second Fall scrimmage.
 
The fourth annual Burrito Bowl is set to begin at 12:00 PM at Harvard Stadium while the 1^st ever Team IMPACT day carnival will take place before the scrimmage, beginning at 10:00 AM. The carnival will include games, a bouncy house, face painter and food from Union Square donuts, Pinnochios Pizza and Felipe's. All the activities will take place on the Dillon Quad on the Harvard University Athletics campus.
 
Gerry Byrne, the Frisbie Family Head Coach for Harvard Men's Lacrosse, began the annual Burrito Bowl tradition in 2021 along with his staff. Since the inaugural game, the program has expanded the event into a yearly showcase of the Crimson lacrosse team and now in 2024, welcomes a number of other Harvard teams into the fold along with Team IMPACT.
 
The Crimson began working with Team IMPACT in 2021 and has continued to advocate for the non-profit over the past several seasons. In 2023, Harvard lacrosse raised over $33,000 for the organization in just five days leading up to the event.
 
This year, six Team IMPACT athletes from five different programs and three universities will attend the Burrito Bowl and the carnival as the teams hope to set the bar even higher for this year's fundraiser. Burt (Harvard Men's Tennis), Tilly and Josephine (Harvard Women's Lacrosse), Max (Harvard Men's Basketball), Lucy (Boston College Women's Lacrosse) and Simon (Northeastern Men's Hockey) make up the group of Team IMPACT athletes attending the event.
