SPARKS, Md. – Six incoming first-years for Harvard men's lacrosse were named in the Nike Lacrosse/Inside Lacrosse Power 100, the organization announced this week. The group makes up over half of the Crimson's 11-member 2026 recruiting class. One of the highest ranked recruiting classes in program history, the group stands as the seventh strongest class in the Inside Lacrosse Class of 2026 team rankings.
 
The Crimson's three five-star prospects headline the group listed in the annual top 100. Michael Brennan (LSM/Loomis Chaffee/LI Express) tops out the group at No. 17 while his future teammate Cooper Brozek (A/Deerfield Academy/Evolve Elite) came in right behind him at No. 18. Also cracking the top 25 is Brian Burke (LSM/St. Sebastian's School/Laxachusetts), who landed in the No. 23 spot on the rankings.
 
Jay Cohn (A/Athens Drive/Team 91 Carolina) was ranked inside the top 50, coming in at No. 45 on the rankings. Tate Sedlacheck (A/Marin Catholic/West Coast Starz) and Nigel Strazzini (D/Rye HS/Predators) closed out the rankings coming in at No. 73 and No. 80 on the list, respectively.
 
The six honorees tie a program best for Harvard, who set the record in 2023 with six athletes on the Top 100. The total is second best in the Ivy League and good for the eighth most in the nation. The group will look to make an immediate impact on the team when it joins the group this Fall to begin preparations for the 2027 season which is set to begin in early February.
