CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) is coming back to Boston this weekend, as the league is set to host the third annual Boston Cannons Homecoming Weekend at Harvard Stadium. Four Harvard Men's Lacrosse alums will join in on the action when the PLL and newly formed Women's Lacrosse League (WLL) compete on Friday, Aug. 7 and Saturday, Aug. 8.
 
Sam King '25, Ray Dearth '25, Teddy Malone '26 and Logan Ip '26 will represent the Crimson on the professional stage at their former during a weekend that features three games involving former Harvard standouts. Ip and his Boston Cannons will take on the Maryland Whipsnakes in the opening game Friday night at 6:00. The late game on Friday features three former Crimson as King and the Archers are set to take on Dearth, Malone and the Carolina Chaos in a game that has massive playoff implications for both clubs. The Cannons and Ip will close out the weekend in the Saturday Night Lacrosse tilt that will see Boston take on the California Redwoods.
 
King returns to Cambridge following his second consecutive PLL All-Star selection. The former Tewaaraton Award finalist enters the weekend as one of the league's leading midfielders with 29 points on 20 goals and nine assists. King completed his Harvard career ranked second in program history with 241 points and became the first Crimson player to record 100 goals, 100 assists and 100 ground balls. Another strong display of his versatility, King ranks third among offensive players in the PLL with 21 ground balls. The quarterback of the Archers offense, King is currently fourth in the league with 365 touches.
 
Malone has enjoyed an impressive rookie campaign with Carolina, recording 20 points on 13 goals and seven assists. The former Crimson attackman recently delivered a career-high six-point performance and scored the overtime game-winner in a victory over Boston. Malone concluded his Harvard career with 161 points and 112 goals, the seventh-highest goal total in program history.
 
Dearth, an impact short-stick defensive midfielder for the Chaos, has registered six caused turnovers and 11 ground balls this season. The 2025 All-Ivy League selection finished his Crimson career with 84 ground balls and 40 caused turnovers, ranking second in program history in caused turnovers by a short-stick defensive midfielder.
 
 
Selected by Boston with the 18th overall pick in the third round of the 2026 PLL College Draft, Ip became the second player in Harvard history to be chosen in the league's draft. The two-time All-American made his professional debut earlier this summer and has since scored his first PLL goal.
