Ethan Veghte are set to serve the Crimson as captains in 2025,
Josh Shapiro, The Virginia B. and James O. Welch, Jr. '52 Head Coach for Harvard Men's Soccer announced on Friday.
Ojea Quintana has played in 41 career games for the Crimson with 29 games started, five points, three assists, and one goal. He played in 12 games with 10 starts in 2024 after appearing in 13 games in 2023 with 13 starts, one goal, and one assist. As a first-year, he competed in all 17 games with six starts and two assists.
Veghte earned Honorable Mention All-Ivy and CSC Academic All-District accolades as a sophomore in 2023 prior to missing the majority of the 2024 season due to injury. In 2023, he tallied 16 games played, 12 games started, and one goal, while starting all seven Ivy League games. As a first-year in 2022, he played in 16 games with 12 starts, while tallying five points on one goal and three assists.
In 2024, Harvard finished in a tie for fourth place in the Ivy League standings, placing in the top half of the conference table for the fourth consecutive season.
