CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – For a second consecutive week, Harvard field hockey's junior forward
Sage Piekarski is the Ivy League Co-Offensive Player of the Week, as the Concord, Massachusetts native splits the honor with Princeton's Pru Lindsey.
Piekarski ran the show in the Crimson's 6-1 comeback victory against Penn over the weekend. After senior defender
Bronte-May Brough equalized in the first quarter, Piekarski equalized the score in the second quarter with 11 minutes left in the first half. Piekarski struck again just five minutes later to double Harvard's lead. For the first time this season, Piekarski registered multiple goals in the same game.
A two-time All-Ivy League selection, Piekarski is powering Harvard's attack this season. A starter in all nine contests so far this campaign, Piekarski leads the Crimson in goals (6) and is tied with junior midfielder
Lara Beekhuis for the team lead in points (13). Over the last three contests, Piekarski has posted four goals and eight points.
No. 4 Harvard continues the 2025 campaign tonight, heading across town to take on Boston University at New Balance Field. First touch is scheduled for 6 p.m. and all the action will air live on ESPN+.
