Men’s Team, Malague Punch Tickets to 2025 NCAA Cross Country Championships

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Harvard cross country's postseason story will continue in Missouri next weekend, as the men's team earns an at-large bid for the 2025 NCAA Cross Country Championships at the Gans Creek Cross Country Course on Saturday, Nov. 22. On the women's side, senior Molly Malague also qualified for the NCAA Championships as an individual participant.

This marks Harvard's men's team sixth consecutive trip to the NCAA Tournament Championships. At the 2025 NCAA Northeast Regional Championships, the Crimson slotted into third place thanks to top five finishes from junior and team captain Sam Burgess and first-year Tam Gavenas, as the Crimson were the only team in the field to post multiple top five finishers in the men's 10k championship. Heading into the weekend, Harvard held the No. 21 spot in the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association's National Coaches Poll.

A two-time All-Ivy League honoree, Malague will run at the NCAA Championships for the third time in her Crimson career. At the NCAA Northeast Regional Championships, Malague took third place with a time of 19:54.6 in the women's 6k championship. A native of Metuchen, New Jersey, Malague finished in 124th place with a time of 20:41.6 at the 2024 NCAA Championships in Madison, Wisconsin.

The women's 6k championship race begins at 10:20 a.m. eastern time, while the men's 10k championship is scheduled to begin at 11:10 a.m. eastern time. ESPNU will air both races.
