CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard cross country hits the road one last time to cap off the 2025 season, as the Crimson travel to Gans Creek Cross Country Course in Columbia Missouri on Saturday, Nov. 22 for the 2025 NCAA Cross Country Championships.
Racing begins at 10:20 a.m. eastern time with the women's 6k championship race, as action concludes with the men's 10k championship race at 11:10 a.m. eastern time. All the action will air live on ESPNU.
WHAT TO KNOW:
- For a sixth consecutive year, Harvard's men's squad qualifies as a team, as the Crimson earn an at-large bid after a third place showing in the men's 10k championship race at the NCAA Northeast Regional Championships in Hopkinton, New Hampshire last weekend.
- At the NCAA Northeast Regional Championships, four Crimson garnered All-Region honors, as junior Sam Burgess, first-year Tam Gavenas, junior Charlie Ortmans and first-year Benjamin Bouie all earned Northeast All-Region honors with top-25 finishes in Hopkinton.
- The men's team started the postseason with a second place showing at the 2025 Ivy League Heptagonal Cross Country Championships, as Gavenas, Burgess and Ortmans all took All-Ivy League First Team honors.
- In the latest United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association's National Coaches Poll, Harvard owns the No. 29 spot.
- Harvard has produced at least one All-American every year since 2019. Graham Blanks '25 won back-to-back NCAA men's cross country national titles in 2023 and 2024.
- Along with the men's team punching its tickets to Columbia, senior Molly Malague secured a spot at the NCAA Championships as an individual after a series of stellar performances this season.
- Malague took third place at both Heps and the NCAA Northeast Regional Championships, as Malague has produced the top Harvard result at every meet this season.
- A native of Metuchen, New Jersey, this marks Malague's third appearance at the NCAA Championships.
