PROVIDENCE, R.I. – No. 18 men's water polo completed the season sweep over host Brown in the second round of the NWPC Playoffs on Saturday afternoon, defeating the Bears 18-14 to set up a highly anticipated rematch with Princeton on Sunday.
Defeating Brown in its first game of the playoffs, Harvard went back and forth with its Ivy rival before pulling away in the fourth quarter. The usual suspects led the way once again as Mason Hunt, Vilas Sogaard-Srikrishnan and Jack Burghardt combined for 15 of the Crimson's 18 goals.
2025 NWPC MVP Jack Burghardt opened the game with four of Harvard's first six tallies to get the Crimson rolling, while Vilas Sogaard-Srikrishnan helped power an eight-goal second quarter. Captain Mason Hunt helped seal the victory with two late goals.
