Men’s Swimming and Diving to Travel for Minnesota Invitational

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard Men's Swimming and Diving continues its 2025-26 campaign this week at the Minnesota Invitational. The three-day event is scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 4-Saturday, Dec. 6, at Jean K. Freeman Aquatic Center in Minneapolis.

What to Know

  • Competition in the Twin Cities is set to begin each day at 10 a.m. CT/11 a.m. ET with the swimming prelims. Swimming finals will commence at 5 p.m. CT/6 p.m. ET. Diving, meanwhile, will start at 1 p.m. CT/2 p.m. ET.
  • Harvard is coming off a 180.50-119.50 Ivy League victory at Columbia on Nov. 21. With the decision, the Crimson improved to 4-0 overall and 3-0 against Ancient Eight members.
  • This season marks the sixth straight in which Harvard has traveled to compete at the Minnesota Invitational. At 4-0, the Crimson will compete at the Invitational with an undefeated dual-meet record for the fifth year in a row.
  • Harvard finished in second place a season ago at the Minnesota Invitational. The Crimson earned 1,209 points and was the runner-up to No. 5 California and its 2,096 points. No. 18 Minnesota (1,164), Denver (778.50) and UNLV (773.50) rounded out the final team scoreboard.
  • Harvard this year will go against No. 6 California, Minnesota, UNLV, Rutgers, Denver, and Iowa State. The Gophers, meanwhile, are receiving votes in the November edition of the CSCAA poll.

Harvard will press pause on its season after the Minnesota Invitational and will resume action on Jan. 10, when it plays host to Brown at 11 a.m. ET. The Ivy meet will air live on ESPN+.
