CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard Sailing, the defending ICSA Open Team Race National Champion, has announced its 2026 spring schedule. The Crimson, which won the ICSA Match Race National Championship in November, will compete at nine local regattas.
Harvard will make its spring debut the weekend of Feb. 28-March 1, when it plays host to the Harvard Women's Team Race and travels to compete at the Liam O'Keefe Trophy Team Race in Cranston, Rhode Island. Last season, the Crimson won the inaugural O'Keefe Trophy.
The following weekend, March 7-8, will feature three regattas for Harvard. The Crimson will stay local for two, welcoming sailors for the Wood Trophy, while competing at Tufts' Icebreaker Invitational. Harvard will also travel south for the Jen Harris Women's Team Race at Navy.
The Crimson will return to Navy seven days later, March 14-15, for the Graham Hall Trophy Team Race. Harvard came in third place at the event last season. The Crimson women, meanwhile, are set to appear at the Charleston Women's Team Race, which is being hosted by the College of Charleston.
A Greater Boston-only weekend (March 21-22) is next up as Harvard is scheduled to compete at the Duplin Trophy Women's Team Race, hosted by Tufts, and the Friis Trophy Team Race, hosted by the Crimson. A year ago, Harvard finished in third place at both regattas.
The Crimson will close out the month of March with team races in New England. Harvard will look to win its third straight Marchiando Trophy at MIT and improve upon its fourth-place showing at the Dellenbaugh Trophy in Cranston.
April will begin with a pair of regattas the Crimson finished in second at in 2025. Harvard will look to capture the Fowle Trophy for the NEISA Open Team Racing Championship, which will be held in Cranston, and the Yale Women's Team Race in Connecticut. Both are slated for April 4-5.
The NEISA Women's Team Racing Championship/Legler Trophy will take place April 11-12. Tufts will serve as hosts. Harvard will also look to defend its Thompson Trophy Team Race title at U.S. Coast Guard and is scheduled to sail at the Central Series 4 Fleet Race at a location to be determined.
The Crimson's final regular-season weekend (April 18-19) will have it competing at four regattas, with a pair of NEISA titles on the line. The Coast Guard Alumni Bowl for the NEISA Open Fleet Racing Championship will take place at Brown and the Reed Trophy for the NEISA Women's Fleet Racing Championship will be hosted by USCG. Harvard enters as the defending open champion, with the women looking to improve upon its third-place performance at the 2025 event. The Crimson will also sail at the Boston Dinghy Cup (MIT host) and the Morris Trophy (BU host). Both regattas will feature fleet racing.
The ICSA Open and Women's Team Racing National Championships will be hosted by Tulane. The open regatta is slated for April 23-25, with the women to follow April 26-27. The Crimson won the open championship last year, and the women came in a program-best third place.
When the championship season continues in May, Harvard will travel to Tampa, Florida, to participate. The semifinals of the ICSA Women's Fleet Racing National Championship are set for May 15-16, with the finals qualifiers moving on to compete May 17-18. With the women's champion decided, the open semifinals will commence May 19-20, with the championship round booked for May 21-22. Harvard in third at the women's event and fifth at the open regatta last season.
The Crimson is coming off a strong Fall 2025 campaign that saw it win seven team events, including the NEISA Match Racing Championship and the ICSA Match Race National Championship, and finish in the top-5 at 19 different team regattas.
Robby Meek, meanwhile, won the ICSA Singlehanded National Championship.
