What to Know
- The Crimson is back in action for the first time since it visited Penn and Princeton back on Feb. 2. Harvard comes into this week's match in search of its first dual-meet win of the campaign.
- Harvard boasts two wrestlers in the NCAA midseason coaches rankings, which were released today. Diego Sotelo, who is 10-4 on the season and 3-1 in duals, is ranked 25th at 125 pounds. Jimmy Harrington (11-9 overall; 2-2 dual), meanwhile, is at No. 32 in the 157-pound rankings.
- First-year Logan Brzozowski (125 pounds) comes into the week tied with Jameson Garcia (141) with nine victories overall, which rank third on the team behind Harrington and Sotelo. Of Brzozowski's nine wins, two have come in dual-meet competition, which is tied for the second most on the team along with Dante Frinzi (141), Harrington (157) and Jaden Pepe (133). Sotelo leads the Crimson with three dual-meet wins.
- Harvard trails the all-time series with Columbia, 37-53-2. The Crimson, however, has won five of the last eight meetings, a streak that dates to a 22-14 victory in 2016. The last time the Lions visited the MAC, Harvard earned a 19-18 decision in 2023.
- The Lions (3-7; 0-3 Ivy) come to Cambridge having lost four straight duals, including last week's 40-0 home loss to ninth-ranked Cornell.
