BOSTON, Mass. – In one of the final meets of a memorable and historic 2024-25 indoor track & field season, the Crimson did not disappoint, breaking school and Ivy League records at the Terrier DMR Challenge/Last Chance Meet.
The meet started with the women's 4x400m relay, as seniors
Chloe Fair, Izzy Goudros, Victoria Bossong and sophomore
Sophia Gorriaran united for a time of 3:30.28, resetting their own school record for a fourth time this season. With the result, Harvard now ranks eighth nationally in the event this season.
Two Crimson seniors went sub-40 in the men's mile at the BU Track & Tennis Center.
Joe Ewing showcased his expertise in the event, finishing in ninth with a time of 3:56.87. A native of Edinburgh, Scotland, Ewing now ranks second all-time in the men's mile in program history. Taking 15
th place,
Noah Ward went sub-4 for the first time in his collegiate career in the mile, crossing the finish line in 3:57.92. With that mark, Ward holds the no. 5 position on the program all-time performance list.
Harvard showcased more talent in the final event of the Terrier DMR Challenge, the women's distance medley relay. Bossong, Fair and Gorriaran returned to the track for the DMR, this time joined by junior
Penelope Salmon, as the quartet posted a time of 10:47.92, a new Ivy League record. With that result, Harvard now owns the ninth-fastest time in the NCAA this season.
