VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – Harvard track & field authored a remarkable chapter in program history this weekend at the 2025 NCAA Indoor Championships, as the women's team finished in 11
th place in the team standings with 18 points, both new highs in indoor competition in school history.
Every single women's entry at the 2025 NCAA Indoor Championships earned All-America First Team honors. After senior
Izzy Goudros finished in sixth place in the women's pentathlon and the women's distance medley relay of seniors
Marianne Mihas, Chloe Fair, Ellaney Matarese and junior
Penelope Salmon finished in seventh on Friday, senior
Victoria Bossong and sophomore
Sophia Gorriaran both took spots in the top-eight in the women's 800m final. A quartet that rewrote the Crimson record book this season, Fair, Goudros, Gorriaran and Bossong capped their dream season in the women's 4x400m relay with a sixth place finish at the 2025 NCAA Indoor Championships.
On the men's side, sophomore
Tito Alofe garnered All-America Second Team status in the men's high jump, as he is now a three-time All-American in the event across both indoor and outdoor competition.
The day started with the men's high jump, as for the third time in his career, Alofe earned All-America honors in the event across both indoor and outdoor competition. A native of Peachtree City, Georgia, Alofe is an All-American Second Team honoree after finishing in 11
th, clearing the bar at 2.16m (7'1").
For the first time in their collegiate careers, Bossong and Gorriaran garnered All-America First Team status in the indoor women's 800m. After running the fastest time in the semifinals (2:00.82), Bossong didn't disappoint in the final, finishing in second after clocking a time of 2:00.93. An All-America Second Team selection last season in the indoor women's 800m, Gorriaran placed seventh this season with a time of 2:02.57.
The Crimson wrapped its time at the 2025 NCAA Indoor Championships with the women's 4x400m relay. As they've done all year, Fair, Goudros, Gorriaran and Bossong were sensational, finishing in sixth place with a time of 3:30.49.
