LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Harvard track & field concluded the opening weekend of the 2025 outdoor season in the Golden State, posting several impressive performances at the Ron & Sharlene Allice Trojan Invitational.
HARVARD HIGHLIGHTS:
- The day at the Allyson Felix Field started with the men's 4x100m relay, as first-years Harlow Tong, Jordan Coleman, LeRoy Horton and junior Jonas Clarke finished in third place with a time of 40.35. That result ranks fifth all-time in school history.
- In the women's 100m hurdles, junior Fabiola Belibi finished on the podium, taking third place. The Ivy League champion in the indoor 60m hurdles, Belibi clocked a personal-best time of 13.67, a mark that ranks seventh all-time in school history.
- On the men's side of the 100m hurdles, sophomore Simon Weiser orchestrated a first-place showing, finishing the spring in 14.37.
- In the men's 400m, first-year Brayden Chavez took seventh place with a time of 48.73.
- Two Crimson finished in the top-15 of the women's 100m dash. Junior Mfoniso Andrew clocked a personal-best 11.82 to take 10th place, while first-year Saige Forbes finished in 14th with a 12.06.
- Senior Peter Fischer led the way for Harvard in the men's 400m hurdles, finishing in second with a 52.62. The men's 400m hurdles also saw junior Michal Husek place third, ending the race in 53.10.
- In the women's 200m, first-year Ella Cooper highlighted Harvard's showing in the event, taking fifth with a time of 23.82. A native of Owings Mills, Maryland, Cooper now ranks fifth all-time in the 200m. Sophomore Marta Amani also placed in the top-10, as she ran a 24.65.
- First-Year Liam Acevedo ran a 21.34 to take fifth in the men's 200m, Coleman joined him in the top-10 in seventh place (21.52).
- The women's 4x400m relay rounded out the action on the track, as the Crimson finished in second place with a time of 3:40.87.
- In the women's long jump, Amani finished in second with a jump of 6.11m (20' 0.5"). Forbes also finished in the top-10. Forbes recorded a tenth place showing with a jump of 5.73m (18'9.75").
- First-Year Tyler Glover finished in second place in the women's shot put with a throw of 14.88m (48'10").
- Over on the men's side of the shot put, sophomore Isaac Delaney finished in fifth after tossing a 16.77m (55'0.25").
- In the men's javelin throw, senior Jeremiah Swett finished in third with a throw of 54.08m (177'5").

Two meets await Harvard next weekend, as the Crimson will headline the Raleigh Relays and the Lowell Invitational from Thursday, Mar. 27 to Saturday, Mar. 29.
