RALEIGH, N.C. – Harvard track & field capped its time at the 2025 Raleigh Relays with several stellar performances in marquee women's distance events.

HARVARD HIGHLIGHTS:

• The evening at the Paul Derr Track started with the women's 1500m, as senior Marianne Mihas highlighted Harvard's showing in the event, finishing in 44^th with a time of 4:21.75. Finishing in 64^th place, senior Ellaney Matarese ran a 4:25.26, as sophomore Lily O'Donoghue-McDonald finished in 126^th after crossing the finish line in 4:31.12. Sophomore Samira Kennedy posted a personal-best mark of 4:33.53 to finish in 152^nd.
• Harvard was exceptional in the women's 5000m, as two Crimson earned spot in the top-10 against a very competitive field. Junior Penelope Salmon took eighth with a time of 15:48.88, as she now ranks second all-time in school history in the event. Fellow classmate Molly Malague posted a personal-best 15:50.39 to finish in 10^th, as she is now third all-time in the event in school history.
• With their marks at the Raleigh Relays, Salmon and Malague are the third and fourth student-athletes in school history to go sub-16:00.00 in the women's 5000m, joining Maia Ramsden '24 and current assistant coach Judy Pendergast '22.
• Senior Ella Gilson closed out the meet in the women's 10,000m Invitational, taking 24^th with a time of 34:09.50.
