SARASOTA, Fla. – Harvard men's heavyweight rowing concluded their weekend at Nathan Benderson Park. The third varsity eight had a strong showing, finishing first and securing a close victory over Washington, the crew that narrowly defeated them the day before. Harvard swept Northeastern and Yale in all four races of the day. The first varsity placed third, the second varsity finished second, and the fourth varsity also earned second place.

The third varsity eight, coxed by Cate Engles and stroked by Joshua Gordon, rebounded from Friday's close loss to Washington with a 0.76-second win in Saturday's rematch. In addition to Washington, they also defeated Yale, Brown, and Northeastern.

The first varsity eight, coxed by Sreetej Digumarthi and stroked by Benjamin Scott, finished third, ahead of Yale and Northeastern but behind Brown and Washington.

The second varsity eight, coxed by Nat Toms and stroked by Owen Marcovitz, held a competitive pace throughout and finished second, surpassing Yale, Brown, and Northeastern.
The fourth varsity eight, coxed by Iris Henenin and stroked by George Burney, earned a third-place finish, edging out Yale and Northeastern.
While the weekend had its challenges, Harvard showed resilience across the board, with strong performances in each race.
