Harvard-Radcliffe Hosts Yale and BU in Case Cup Regatta on the Charles

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Harvard-Radcliffe heavyweight rowing team will host its first home regatta of the season on Saturday, April 26, facing Yale and Boston University (BU races only in the 3V) on the Charles River. The regatta will be streamed live on ESPN+ and the international feed.

This race marks the annual competition for the Nathaniel H. Case Cup, contested between Harvard-Radcliffe and Yale. Yale leads the all-time series 26–14, with the last victory for the Black and White coming in 2011.

In the first varsity eight, the Black and White recorded wins over a deep field, including Miami, Duke, USC, Minnesota, Notre Dame, UCLA, Wisconsin, Indiana, Oklahoma, Alabama, and Iowa.

The team is led by Head Coach Claire Ochal, now in her second spring season, with support from assistant coaches Hannah Woodruff and Dan Harrison. The 2025 roster includes ten seniors, and sophomore Kathryn Serra was named to the CRCA Preseason Athletes to Watch List.
