ST. MARY'S CITY, Md. – Harvard Sailing's pursuit of a second straight ICSA Open Fleet Racing National Championship was forced to wait a day due to a lack of wind. The first of two days of racing was to begin today, but after waiting all day for suitable puffs, the action was called.
The Crimson won the Eastern Semifinals of the regatta on Wednesday, posting a two-day score of 123. Harvard's performance on Wednesday springboarded it from its second-place position to the top of the leaderboard, ultimately surpassing Brown and its semifinal total of 126.
Representing the Crimson in the A-Division are skippers
Justin Callahan and
Robby Meek, with
Kennedy Leehealey and
Christina Chen providing support as crew. In Division B are
Mitchell Callahan and
Rosella Irfan, with

The second and final day of the championship round is set for an 8:15 a.m. start in an effort to get as much racing in prior to the 5 p.m. cutoff time. All of it is weather permitting.
