CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard Sailing for the second straight week was recognized by NEISA for its performance on the water. Justin Callahan, Aidan Pesce, Mitchell Callahan, Michelle Chung, Robby Meek, Jacob Posner and Christina Chen were all named NEISA Open Sailors of the Week, for the period ending March 22.
 
The Crimson won The Friis Trophy last weekend by going 17-2 overall to topple runner-up Stanford and Roger Williams, which were both 14-5 on the Charles River. Harvard opened with a 7-1 round-robin mark, tying it with the Cardinal, but blew away the field in Round 2, going 8-0, before finishing with a 2-1 record in the Round of 4.
 
The victory gave the Crimson its first Friis victory since at least the 2008-09 campaign and marked the program's fifth win in the last four weekends. Harvard has now won at least one regatta in four consecutive spring weekends, representing the first time the feat has been accomplished since at least '08-09.
 
Harvard will look to emerge from another weekend of action with at least one victory when it competes at the MIT-hosted Marchiando Trophy Team Race and the Brown-hosted Dellenbaugh Trophy Women's Team Race. Both regattas are slated for March 28-29.
