CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard captured NEISA Open Sailor-of-the-Week honors, the association announced today.

Rosella Irfan,
Aidan Pesce and
Xavier Ayala-Vermont were the Crimson athletes who were recognized for their performance on the water for the weekend of March 14-15.
The aforementioned group finished first among the 16-team field at the Graham Hall Trophy Team Race in Annapolis, Maryland. Harvard went 21-2 in a dominant performance and won the regatta by three races over runner-up Roger Williams, which finished at 18-5.
The weekly honor is the second of the spring campaign for the Crimson after it was recognized on March 4. The previous weekend featured the Callahans, Meek, Posner, Chen, Irfan and Pesce winning the Liam O'Keefe Trophy Team Race (Feb. 28) in Rhode Island.
Harvard returns to the water this weekend, March 21-22, when it competes at the Duplin Trophy Women's Team Race (Tufts host) and plays host to the Friis Trophy Team Race.
