Goudros, Retsa Break Ivy League, School Records

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – With only a week left until the 2025 Ivy League Heptagonal Outdoor Championships, Harvard enjoyed another round of historic performances, as senior Izzy Goudros reset her Ivy League record in the heptathlon with 5807 points.

At the Jim Green Invitational in Lexington, Kentucky, Goudros paved her path to a new conference record in the heptathlon with the top marks in the 200m (23.40) and the long jump (6.12m/20'1"). Her time of 23.40 in the 200m is a new personal-best and ranks fourth all-time in school history. She also set a new personal-best in the shot put with a mark of 12.06m (39'6.75").

An All-America Second Team selection in the heptathlon last year, Goudros now ranks fifth nationally in the heptathlon this season.

Over at the Jay Carisella Coaches Invitational, senior Anastasia Retsa set another record, this time a school record in the women's pole vault after clearing 4.32m (14'2"). Retsa now ranks 11th in the east region in the women's pole vault.
