CAMDEN, N.J. – The Harvard men's heavyweight team opened the 2025 IRA Championship Regatta with dominant performances across the board. All four boats won their respective heats or semifinals on Friday, May 30, advancing to the next round of competition on Saturday, May 31. The First, Second, and Third Varsity Eights each claimed first place in their heats, moving into the AB semifinals. The Varsity Four won its semifinal to secure a place in the A Final.

Harvard returns to the water on Saturday, May 31, with all four boats advancing to key rounds of the IRA Championship Regatta. The First Varsity Eight will race in the AB semifinal at 12:32 p.m., followed by the Second Varsity Eight in its AB semifinal at 12:48 p.m. The Third Varsity Eight continues the afternoon at 1:12 p.m. in its AB semifinal. Finally, the Varsity Four will compete for a national title in the A Final at 3:20 p.m.
