EUGENE, Ore. – An action-packed day at Hayward Field for Harvard track & field was highlighted by marquee performances, as a trio of Crimson earned All-America Second Team honors in their respective events at the NCAA Outdoor Championships.
In her first showing at the NCAA Outdoor Championships, sophomore
Emilia Kolokotroni didn't disappoint, advancing to the women's hammer throw finals and finishing in ninth place. Competing in the opening flight, Kolokotroni was sharp out of the gates, recording a then personal-best of 66.77m (219'0") on her opening throw of the day. On her third throw, Kolokotroni did it again, cementing her spot in the top-ten with another personal-best throw of 67.82m (222'6"). That mark ranks second all-time in program history.
A native of Nicosia, Cyprus, Kolokotroni adds All-America Second Team status to an already impressive resume that includes two Ivy League titles in the women's hammer throw. Kolokotroni is only the second student-athlete in school history to garner All-America status in the women's hammer throw, joining two-time NCAA national champion in the event

Over on the infield, sophomore
Marta Amani wrapped her breakout season in the women's long jump. Competing in the first flight, Amani made history, finishing in 13
th place. Amani opened her time in Eugene with a jump of 5.81m (19'.75"). On her second attempt, Amani shot up the leaderboard, leaping to a mark of 6.17m (20'3"). With that jump, Amani gained All-America Second Team status, making her the first All-American in the women's long jump in school history.
Sophomore
Sophia Gorriaran once again took the stage at Hayward Field, as the Providence, Rhode Island native finished in 12
th place with a time of 2:03.42. The Ivy League champion in the women's 800m this season, Gorriaran is now a four-time All-American in both the indoor and outdoor women's 800m.
Two Crimson advanced to event finals that will be contested on Saturday. The runner-up in the women's 800m at the 2025 NCAA Indoor Championships, senior
Victoria Bossong will run in the women's 800m final after posting a time of 2:01.07 in the semifinals. The women's 400m hurdles saw senior
Chloe Fair excel, as the Suwanee, Georgia native captured her spot in Saturday's final with a time of 55.91 in the final heat, the fifth-fastest time in the semifinals.
Bossong will run the women's 800m final at 10:14 p.m. eastern time on Saturday, while Fair's 400m hurdles final takes place right after at 10:27 p.m. eastern time.
The Ivy League's Most Outstanding Female Track Athlete at the 2025 Ivy League Heptagonal Outdoor Championships, junior
Molly Malague ended her breakout season in the women's 3000m steeplechase semifinals, as Malague finished in 19
th place with a time of 10:03.54.
Bossong, Gorriaran, Fair and junior
Mfoniso Andrew ended the evening out west in the women's 4x400m relay semifinals. Kicking-off the racing in the first heat, the Crimson quartet finished in 18
th place with a time of 3:33.75.
