AUSTIN, Texas – For the third time in his illustrious collegiate track & field and cross country career,
Graham Blanks '25 garners Academic All-America honors from the College Sports Communicators.
A native of Athens, Georgia and a member of Team USA at the 2024 Paris Olympics, Blanks rounded out his historic collegiate career with a cross country season to remember in 2024. In Madison, Wisconsin at the famed Zimmer Championships Course, Blanks became the 13
th student-athlete in the history of the NCAA to win consecutive men's cross country national championships, marking Harvard's 23
rd individual national championship across cross country, indoor track & field and outdoor track & field action.
Along with stellar 2024 cross country season, Blanks ended his Harvard career in Massachusetts, winning the 5000m at the Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener. Blanks finished the race in 12:59.89, achieving the World Championships standard along with toppling his own Ivy League record.
Blanks recently graduated from Harvard College with a bachelor's degree in economics & philosophy. A four-time All-American in cross country competition, Blanks now runs professionally for New Balance.
