LAS VEGAS, Nev. – Harvard Men's Basketball alumni Robert Baker '20 and Chris Ledlum '23 have both completed successful runs at the 2025 NBA Summer League, competing for the Indiana Pacers and Houston Rockets, respectively at the Thomas & Mack Center and Pavilion on the campus of UNLV from July 10-19.
Baker averaged 16.3 minutes, 11.5 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.8 assists, and 1.3 steals per game over four games played for the Pacers, while shooting 52.9 percent from the field and 35.3 percent from 3-point distance. Baker competed in the NBA Summer League previously with the Oklahoma City Thunder (2022), Orlando Magic (2023), and Atlanta Hawks (2024).
In his Summer League finale, Baker dropped a double-double behind a game-high 26 points, 10 rebounds, three assists, two steals, and two blocks, while hitting 11-of-18 field goals and 4-of-10 3-pointers in a 113-104 win over New Orleans (July 18). Baker also scored a team-high 16 points on 5-of-6 field goals and 2-of-3 3-pointers with five rebounds, two assists, and two steals vs. Oklahoma City (July 12).
Baker has played in 104 career NBA G League games including 53 starts over four seasons (2021-25) with Stockton, Lakeland (now Osceola) and College Park, averaging 10.0 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.4 assists, 1.2 blocks, and 21.3 minutes per game. He has also played professionally in Slovakia (2020-21), Puerto Rico (2022-23), Japan (2023-24), and Germany (2024-25).
During his time at Harvard from 2016-20, Baker played in 99 career games with 39 career starts, averaging 4.5 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 14.9 minutes per game, while shooting 44.2 percent from the field, 33.5 percent from 3-point distance, and 77.5 percent from the free throw line. As a senior, he averaged 7.0 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 22.3 minutes per game across 29 games played and 26 starts, while shooting 47.2 percent from the field, 35.6 percent from 3-point distance, and 81.8 percent on free throws.
Competing in the NBA Summer League for the first time, Ledlum averaged 16.8 minutes, 7.2 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 2.0 blocks per game over five games played for the Rockets, while shooting 43.8 percent from the field and 33.3 percent from 3-point distance.
Ledlum scored 16 points with three rebounds and three blocks, while hitting 3-of-8 3-pointers against Atlanta (July 14). He registered 10 points, three rebounds, and two blocks vs. Portland (July 17), while adding five points, six boards, and three blocks vs. Detroit (July 13).
A First Team NABC All-District selection, USBWA All-District Team honoree, and a unanimous First Team All-Ivy pick for Harvard in 2022-23, Ledlum ranked second in the Ivy League in points per game (18.8) and first in rebounds per game (8.4) as a senior. For the season, he scored in double figures in 26 of 28 games, eclipsed 20 points 11 times, netted 30 or more points twice, and posted eight double-doubles. Ledlum also distinguished himself in the classroom during his career, gaining Academic All-America and Academic All-District honors as both a junior and senior.
Following a season as a graduate student at St. John's (2023-24), Ledlum competed for Élan Béarnais Pau-Lacq-Orthez in the French Pro B this past season (2024-25), earning MVP accolades for the league.
