The Haudenosaunee Nation and Australia join the two nations in Pool A for the group stage that begins Friday August 16 and runs through Tuesday August 19. After the initial group stage, the teams will move into the knock-out playoff bracket that will begin with the play-in games on Wednesday, August 20 before the quarterfinal/semifinals matchups on Thursday-Friday, August 21-22. The medal game will take place on Sunday, August 24.
Jack Speidell was named to the USA Lacrosse U20 National squad after a breakout season that saw him score 46 goals and notch 13 assists to total 59 points. The USA Lacrosse Honorable Mention All-America selection joins a talented USA roster that hopes to capture another goal medal at this year's games.
Another breakout star during the Crimson's historic 2025 season,
Wyatt Wiggins was named to the Canada Lacrosse roster after a four caused turnover and seven ground ball season. Wiggins came on strong down the stretch of the campaign and factored into the Crimson defensive rotation in a number of different situations as a long stick midfielder. A Peterborough, Ontario native, Wiggins took shifts in the defensive zone and factored in on the faceoff wings during a strong sophomore campaign.
A two-time high school All-American,
Jared Maznik will compete with Team Canada's attack unit during the upcoming World Games. The No. 33 ranked player in the Class of 2024, Maznik did not compete in game action for the Crimson during his first-year season that saw him battle injury throughout the course of the season.
