EUGENE, Ore. – Harvard track & field enjoyed and orchestrated strong showings in several running events at the 2025 USATF Toyota Outdoor Championships, as a pair of Crimson medaled at the famed Hayward Field.

A two-time NCAA men's cross country national champion, Graham Blanks '25 shined in the men's 10,000m on the opening night of competition. Posting a time of 29:03.66, Blanks took third place amongst a stacked field to earn a bronze medal. This marks Blanks' first medal at a national championship, as the Athens, Georgia will represent the United States in the 10,000m at the World Athletics Championships next month.

Along with his third place showing in the 10,000m, Blanks finished 13^th in the men's 5000m with a time of 13:31.94. In his final race for Harvard last winter, Blanks met the World Championships standard in the 5000m with a time of 12:59.89 at the Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener.

One of the top female sprinters in the world, five-time Olympic medalist Gabby Thomas '19 took third in the women's 200m, securing her spot at the World Athletics Championships with a bronze medal bronze and a time of 22.20. Last summer saw Thomas win gold medals in the 200m, 4x100m, and the 4x400m relay at the 2024 Paris Olympics, becoming only the second American female to accomplish that feat.

Three other Crimson also took part in competition at the USATF Outdoor Championships. Junior Sophia Gorriaran and Victoria Bossong '25 both advanced to the 800m semifinals, as Abbe Goldstein '21 ended her time in the 1500m in the first round.
