4th Annual HLX Kickoff Scrimmage Leads Off Fall Schedule for Men’s Lacrosse

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The 2025-26 Harvard Men's Lacrosse Fall Experience gets underway this weekend with the fourth annual HLX Kickoff Scrimmage. The intrasquad matchup between the Crimson and White will be played at Jordan Field on Saturday, September 13, at 1:00 PM, marking the first opportunity for fans to see the 2026 Crimson squad in action.

The Crimson will split into two teams for the scrimmage, which is free and open to the public. The game is scheduled to run from 1:00 to approximately 2:15 PM. In addition to the on-field competition, fans will have the chance to meet the team and staff, collect autographs, take photos, and even shoot and catch on Jordan Field. HLX will also host a series of raffles with gear and prize giveaways.

Saturday's scrimmage kicks off the six-event HLX Fall Experience, a slate that will carry the Crimson through the fall semester in preparation for the 2026 season.

For the third consecutive year, Harvard will partner with Team IMPACT to host the fourth annual Burrito Bowl, scheduled for Saturday, September 27, at Harvard Stadium. Last fall, Harvard joined forces with multiple varsity programs to welcome six Team IMPACT athletes, who were honored on the field prior to the scrimmage. The Crimson's partnership with Team IMPACT spans six years and has raised more than $50,000 in support of the organization.

Over Indigenous People's Day weekend, Harvard will travel to Philadelphia to face Maryland in a fall scrimmage on Saturday, October 11. While in the city, the Crimson will participate in additional events to connect with the Philadelphia lacrosse community.

Later in October, the team will continue its long-standing relationship with Harlem Lacrosse by assisting the Boston chapter in hosting its annual Chumash Tournament. Harvard has played a key role in the tournament's operation for the past three seasons, deepening its connection to Harlem Lacrosse while advancing the mission of growing the game.

The HLX Fall Experience will conclude in early November with the fourth annual BBQ Bowl, another intrasquad scrimmage that brings together fans, alumni, and season ticket holders for one final look at the Crimson before the spring season begins.
