CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Harvard men's golf team will continue its Fall season this weekend with the second of its four Fall tournaments. The Crimson will compete in The Goat hosted by the United States Naval Academy at the United States Naval Academy Golf Club in Annapolis. Harvard will make its first ever appearance at the event where it will compete against a strong field of teams. After a solid showing in its first tournament of the season, the group will look to continue its growth as it makes its way into the Spring.

Notes and Storylines
- Harvard will make its first ever appearance at the Goat this weekend.
- The Crimson posted a seventh-place finish at the 2025 Rod Myers Intercollegiate in its first Fall tournament with a team score of five-over-par.
- Harvard had flashes of greatness in the tournament including a tournament team low round of 10-under-par in the second round. The team was in third-place after round two before finishing in seventh.
- Ieuan Jones had the highest placement on the team at Duke after finishing T18 with a 54-hole score of even par (216).
- Morgan Riley led the team in round one with an even-par round of 72 in his collegiate debut.
- Jones was on fire in the second round, carding a team-tournament low round of 67 (-5) with four birdies and an eagle. Jones was the only golfer in the field to card two eagles in the tournament.
- Barry Zhang was steady all weekend long at Duke, carding rounds of 74, 70 and 75 to finish T28.
- William Ma led the team in the last day of competition, posting a 71 (-1) to move into T33 at the event.
- First-years Reese Jensen and Isaac Ahn also debuted at the Rod Myers as they both came in T44 in the field.
- The Crimson finished just 11 shots back of third place and 15 strokes in front of its Ivy League rival, Princeton, at the event.

Harvard will be back on the course in two weeks when it makes its return to the field at the Hamptons Intercollegiate on Oct. 6-7. The Crimson will compete at the prestigious Maidstone Club in East Hampton, N.Y. – a Golf Digest Top 100 Course in the Nation – for the third season in a row when it travels to Long Island in two weeks.
