CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard wrestling returns to action this weekend with two different matches in New York.
Coming off a split two weekends ago, Harvard faces Columbia at 12:00 p.m. on ESPN+ before heading to Hofstra for a 1:00 p.m. dual against the Pride on Flowrestling.
WHAT TO KNOW
- Returning to action after a week off, the Crimson is coming off a split against Princeton and Penn.
- In the home opener at the MAC, it came down to the final bout as the Crimson defeated Princeton for the first time at home since 2008.
- Harvard won the final three matches via decision after Matthew Walsh, Dylan Greenstein, and Hudson Skove all won their matches to come from behind and beat the Tigers.
- Harvard has now beaten Princeton twice in the last four seasons.
- The Crimson fell to Penn on Sunday, 33-4, with Jimmy Harrington recording a major decision in the lone win on the day.
- Harvard sits at 4-5 overall and 1-2 in conference play.
- The Crimson fell to Columbia last season at the MAC.
- Harvard is set to face Hofstra for the first time since 2022-23, where it defeated the Pride by a score of 25-11.
- Joseph Cangro and Jack Crook both recorded wins, with Cangro winning via decision and Crook adding a major decision.
