PRINCETON, N.J. – After a stellar start to the season in the circle out west at the GCU Invite, Harvard softball's senior pitcher and team captain
Ryan Grace is the Ivy League's Pitcher of the Week, earning the honor for the second time in her Crimson career.
Appearing in all four games of the Crimson's opening weekend in Phoenix, Arizona, Grace was dominant in the circle, leading the Crimson in earned run average (0.78), strikeouts (10) and opposing batting average (.206) across a team-high 9.0 innings. In the Crimson's dramatic 5-4 walk off win against Northern Colorado on opening day, Grace only allowed one earned run and three hits across four innings against the Bears, tallying four strikeouts in the process.
Last season was a career year for Grace. A native of Sammamish, Washington, Grace tallied career-highs in saves (2), innings pitched (48.1) and strikeouts (51) across 21 appearances during the 2025 season. Across 71.1 career innings in the circle, Grace owns a 3.34 ERA with 68 strikeouts.
Harvard returns to the east coast this weekend, featuring at the Upstate Classic and Sparkle City Invite in Spartanburg, South Carolina from Friday, Feb. 20 to Sunday, Feb. 22.
