CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard women's basketball (15-9, 8-3 Ivy) will play Penn and No. 25 Princeton in its final home games and back-to-back of the regular season. The Crimson will kick-off the weekend against the Quakers on Friday, February 27 at 7:00 p.m. ET before hosting the nationally ranked Tigers on Saturday, February 28 at 6:00 p.m. ET.
Saturday's contest versus Princeton will serve as both the Play4Kay game and Senior Night to celebrate the Crimson's Class of 2026.
The Last Time Out
- In its last time out, the Crimson cruised past the Cornell Big Red, 74-37, in its first contest of its three-game homestand.
- Karlee White tallied double figures for the 10th straight contest with her fourth 20+ point performance of the year. The junior posted 24 points, five rebounds, and three steals against the Big Red. White also shot 10-of-14 from the field.
- Katie Krupa posted her seventh double-figure outing of the season by adding 10 points on 50% shooting.
- Olivia Jones had an all-around performance with nine rebounds, eight points, seven assists, and two steals. The first-year notched eight points on 4-of-7 shooting.
- Alayna Rocco was hitting from distance this evening, tallying nine points while shooting 3-of-4 from the three-point line.
- The Crimson held the Big Red to its lowest scoring output of the season by giving up just 37 points.
- Additionally, Harvard's defense forced 21 Big Red turnovers and capitalized for 25 points off Cornell's miscues.
- Harvard controlled play in the paint by outscoring the Big Red, 40-12.
Stepping into a Leading Role
- Karlee White and Abigail Wright have smoothly transitioned into leading roles this season. The juniors are the top scorers for the Crimson and are each averaging career highs with 15.5 and 13.8 points per game, respectively. The totals rank inside the top 10 in the Ivy League.
- Wright is also the team's leading rebounder, averaging 6.5 per game to rank sixth in the Ivy League. More specifically, the junior forward attacks the offensive glass and is currently the 19th-best offensive rebounder in the nation with her 3.8 per game average.
- Not only is White averaging a career high but she is also doing so at an incredibly efficient rate, shooting 55.8% from the field. The percentage ranks as the best in the conference.
- Before being sidelined with an injury, the junior guard began the year by scoring in double figures in five of the first six games, matching her entire total of double-figure games from her first two seasons. Since returning, White has added 11 more double-figure games to her career total.
- The junior pairing was elected as team captains for the Harvard women's basketball team prior to the start of the 2025-26 season.
Stuffing the Stat Sheet
- Saniyah Glenn-Bello has consistently provided a presence all over the court during her senior season.
- Glenn-Bello is averaging a career high in nearly every statistical category by averaging 11.5 points, 4.2 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 1.6 steals, and 1.2 blocks per game.
- The senior ranks second in the league in blocks (1.2) and 15th in scoring (11.5).
- After not scoring in double figures in the first four games, Glenn-Bello has now done so in 14 of her last 17 games played.
- After averaging 17.5 points on 54.2% shooting and 77.8% from three, 4.0 rebounds, 1.0 blocks, 1.5 steals, and the game-tying and winning threes against Brown, Glenn-Bello recorded her first career Ivy League Player of the Week honor.
First Impressions
- Olivia Jones has made a name for herself in the league already, having been named Ivy League Rookie of the Week a league-best seven times.
- The first-year received the honor on November 10, December 8, January 6, January 20, January 26, February 2, and most recently on February 23.
- Jones was most recently named Rookie of the Week after a strong overall performance against the Big Red. The first-year posted eight points on 4-of-7 shooting, two steals, and led the Crimson in rebounding and assists with nine and seven, respectively.
- Aubrey Shaw, another new face for the Crimson, earned her first career Ivy League Rookie of the Week honor two weeks ago.
- Against Dartmouth, Shaw set a new career high for scoring with 15 points while sinking three threes. The first-year also added four boards and a block in the contest.
The League Standings
- Through the first eight weeks of the Ivy League season, the Crimson sits third in the standings with an 8-3 record.
- The Crimson trails only Columbia and Princeton, who have already clinched their spots in Ivy Madness.
- With a win over the Quakers, the Crimson would clinch its spot in the Ivy League Tournament for the fifth straight season.
- Brown (7-4), Penn (5-6), Cornell (3-8), Yale (2-9), and Dartmouth (1-10) make up the bottom portion of the current league standings.
The Season at a Glance
- The Crimson's season is comprised of 13 non-conference games and its annual 14-game Ivy League slate.
- The Crimson played five power conference opponents in the first month of action including No. 13 Michigan (Big Ten), Cal (ACC), Boston College (ACC), Alabama (SEC), and Arkansas (SEC).
- Harvard competed at two prominent tournaments in November, the Raising the B.A.R. Invitational hosted by the University of California and the Baha Mar Hoops Pink Flamingo Championship in Nassau, The Bahamas.

- The Crimson has a 58-38 lead in the all-time series versus the Quakers including having won the last three contests.
- Despite its lowest scoring output of the season, the Crimson defeated the Quakers, 53-42, in its previous meeting this season at the Palestra.
