CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard men's basketball will begin the back half of its Ivy League schedule this weekend with a road trip to Hanover where it will battle the Dartmouth Big Green. The Crimson (12-9, 5-2 Ivy) finds itself tied at the top of the Ivy League standings entering the weekend and will look to keep its standing with a positive result against the Big Green (10-10. 4-3 Ivy) on Saturday (Feb. 7). Tipoff is set for 5:00 PM with all the action streaming live on ESPN+.

- Harvard enters the weekend with a 12-9 record and a 5-2 mark in Ivy League play. It's mark in conference action has the Crimson tied for first in the conference with Yale.
- The Crimson is coming off a weekend sweep of Brown (Jan. 30) and Yale (Jan. 31) last weekend to take a share of the league lead.
- The weekend began with a gritty 69-59 win over the Bears in Providence. Harvard was led by Robert Hinton, who scored a team-high 22 points after going 14-15 from the free throw line on Friday night at the Pizzitola Sports Center. The Crimson and the Bears went toe-to-toe in what became a game marked by physicality and toughness. Harvard set the tone, forcing Brown to commit 22 fouls which sent Harvard to the line often in the tilt. One of the best foul-shooting teams in the nation, Harvard capitalized on their free throws, making 27-of-29 in the effort.
- The Crimson pulled off a dramatic road victory in the second half of the back-to-back, defeating league-leading Yale, 67–65, on Tey Barbour's game-winning three-pointer with just three seconds remaining. The win marked Harvard's first victory at Yale since 2020 and its fourth consecutive road victory. Robert Hinton led all scorers with 26 points on an efficient 9-of-16 shooting from the field, while the Crimson shot 47% from three-point range and 46% overall in the contest.
- The Crimson has now won five of its last six games which began with a three-game winning streak in conference play. The run started with a road win against Columbia (Jan. 10) before a weekend sweep of Princeton (Jan. 17) and Penn (Jan. 19). Harvard has now won four consecutive road contests.
- Robert Hinton was named the Ivy League Player of the Week (Feb. 2) after pouring in 48 points, collecting six rebounds and dishing out seven assists. It was the second Player of the Week nod for Hinton this season and his tenth Ivy weekly honor in his career after tying a league record with eight Rookie of the Week awards in 2024-25.
- Hinton is leading all Crimson in scoring this season, tallying 17.2 points per game to go along with 4.7 rebounds per game. Among the Ivy League, Hinton currently ranks fourth in points per game and second in scoring with 395 points. A native of Los Angeles, California, Hinton has tallied double-digit points 17 times this season, scoring 20 or more points on seven occasions this year.
- Piggé is enjoying a career year in his final season with the Crimson, averaging a career-high 13.5 points per game, ranking 10th in the Ivy League in the category. Defensively, Piggé is also excelling, ranking second in the Ancient Eight in steals per game (1.6).
- Barbour is averaging 12.5 points per game this season to go along with 5.2 rebounds per game. A native of Manassas, Virginia, Barbour is second on the Crimson in three-point field goal percentage (.414) this season. In the Ivy League, Barbour ranks third in three-point field goal makes (53) as well.
- Batties is finding success beyond the three-point arc, holding second place in the Ivy League for three-point field goal percentage (0.500). A native of Washington, D.C. and the recipient of the team's Hamilton Fish '10 Most Improved Player Award last year, Batties is averaging 12.0 points per game and 4.7 rebounds per game.
- As a team, the Crimson is one of the best defensive sides in the Ivy League, ranking second in the Ancient Eight in points allowed per game (68.6) and third in turnovers forced (237).
- Dartmouth comes into the weekend with a 10-10 record and a 4-3 mark in Ivy league play which puts the Big Green tied for third in the standings. The squad took the win in the first meeting with Harvard in the Ivy League opener (Jan. 5) by a score of 76-68. The side split its weekend at Brown and Yale last weekend, earning an overtime win against the Bears (Jan. 31) after falling to the Bulldogs (Jan. 30). Dartmouth averages 77.8 points per game and has allowed 75.1 points per game to its opponents so far this season.
- Junior guard Xavier Nesbitt has earned selection as a nominee for the Allstate NACDA Winter Good Works Team. Nesbitt garnered the recognition for going above and beyond in his commitment to community service, academic achievement, and athletic performance. Through Harvard's existing relationship with the Boys and Girls Clubs of Boston and a fellowship with The Team, a nonpartisan civic engagement organization, Nesbitt organized a basketball clinic and civic engagement talk at the Charlestown Boys and Girls Club during the 2024–25 academic year.

The trip to Hanover will conclude a three-game road stand for the Crimson, who is set to return to Lavietes Pavillion next weekend. Harvard will take on the Brown Bears (Feb. 13) and Yale Bulldogs (Feb. 14) in what will be a key Ivy League series.
