PRINCETON, N.J. – For the 14
th time in school history, Harvard men's fencing wins the Ivy League championship, bringing the trophy back to Cambridge for the first time since 2024 with a 3-1 record at the 2026 Ivy League Championships.

Daria Schneider and the Crimson now have four Ivy League championships in six years, showcasing its skill and excellence with dominant wins against Yale, Princeton and Penn before falling against Columbia via a narrow decision.
Along with the men's team's legendary showing in Princeton, Harvard's women's squad was one touch short of back to back outright titles losing the 27
th tiebreaking bout between Olympians
Jessica Zi Jia Guo and Princeton's Mia Weintraub 4-5. This second place finish marks the women's second best performance with Schneider and her staff at the helm, with their best performance being the outright title last season.
Two Crimson men also won individual Ivy League championships in their respective weapons, earning All-Ivy League First Team status in the process. A member of the United States' 2024 Olympic roster, sophomore
Colin Heathcock orchestrated a phenomenal performance in men's saber action, going 10-2 with a men's tournament-best +24 indicator. Another 2024 Paris Olympian, sophomore
Nicholas Zhang finished in first place in dominant fashion, posting a 10-2 record with a +22 indicator in men's epee action.
Along with Zhang and Heathcock, Two more Crimson earned All-Ivy League First Team honors as well. A two-time first team All-American in men's epee competition, junior
Henry Lawson went 8-4 to finish in third place. In his Ivy League Championships debut, first-year
Roy Graham took third place in the men's foil standings, going 9-3 with a +12 indicator.
An NCAA Championships qualifier last season, sophomore
Andrew Chen was the Crimson's lone All-Ivy League Second Team selection in men's foil, ending the weekend with a 7-5 record.
On the women's side, four Crimson took All-Ivy League First Team honors. Senior
Zoe Kim finished in second place with a 12-5 record and a +23 indicator in women's saber action, as junior
Kaitlyn Pak also took second with an identical 12-5 record with a +21 indicator. A two-time Olympian, Guo
was superb in women's foil action, finishing in third place with a tournament-leading +50-indicator. For the first time in her career, sophomore
Yasmine Khamis is an All-Ivy League First Team selection, earning the honors with a 13-4 record and a +20 indicator in women's epee action.
First-year
Emily Jing was the only All-Ivy League Second Team selection on the women's team, finishing her Ivy League Championships debut with a 14-4 record and a +30 indicator.
The men's team started its run to the title on a high note on the first day of action at the Ivy League Championships, cruising to a 19-8 win against Yale. The momentum carried into the second day, as the Crimson toppled the tournament host Princeton, 18-9, highlighted by a 7-2 showing from the men's foil squad. The Crimson secured its Ivy League title with a 16-11 win against Penn, as the day ended with a loss against Columbia.
The first day saw the women's team cruise to a 3-0 record with a trio of dominant wins, as the day started with a 17-10 win against Cornell. The momentum carried to a matchup with Brown, as the Crimson dominated en route to a 21-6 win. The first day for the women's team ended with a bang, as the Crimson finished the day undefeated with a 23-4 win against Penn.
The final day action saw Harvard start the day with a narrow 14-13 loss against Columbia, as the Crimson rebounded with authority, taking down Princeton, 14-13. Harvard concluded its run at the 2026 Ivy League Championships with a 20-7 win against Yale.
