SOUTH BEND, Ind. – All four of Harvard men's fencing competitors this weekend earned All-American honors, as Harvard men's fencing ends two days of competition in fourth place at the 2026 NCAA Fencing Championships. With this result, Harvard has now finished in the top five at the NCAA Championships in all five years of head coach
Daria Schneider's tenure.
Harvard, the only school in the top five with less than 5 fencers, still excelled and shined, finishing in fourth place with a 67.4 winning percentage, the highest among the top ten schools in the competition. With 62 victories, Harvard was just one win shy of finishing third ahead of st. John's thanks to their +96 indicator being 114 points higher than St. John's at -18.
In his NCAA Championships debut, sophomore
Colin Heathcock advanced all the way to the semifinals in the men's saber competition, finishing in a tie for third place on Sunday afternoon. A member of Team USA's 2024 Paris Olympics roster, Heathcock ended his time at the NCAA Championships with a 20-3 record and a +50 indicator. Heathcock's 20 victories lead Harvard's men's team this weekend, as Heathcock also earns All-American First Team status as well.
First-year
Roy Graham concludes a stellar rookie campaign with All-American Second Team honors in the men's foil competition. A native of Springfield, Virginia, Graham finished in seventh place after two days of fencing. Graham posted a 14-9 record and a +22 indicator that ranked second on the team this weekend.

Henry Lawson garners All-America Second Team honors with a sixth place showing at the 2026 NCAA Championships. A native of Manhattan, New York, Lawson ended the weekend with a 15-8 record, compiling a +18 indicator in the process. In his second showing at the NCAA Championships, sophomore
Nicholas Zhang takes All-American honorable mention status after finishing in 10
th place. A 2024 Paris Olympian with Team Canada, Zhang logged a 13-10 showing and a +6 indicator.
