Meredith Schwartz (women's nordic) have qualified for the 2026 NCAA Championships, the NCAA announced on Wednesday afternoon.
The 2026 NCAA Championships will take place from March 11-14 with alpine events at Utah Olympic Park in Park City, Utah and nordic events at Soldier Hollow Nordic Center in Midway, Utah. The championship's schedule of events will include giant slalom on March 11, the 7.5k classic on March 12, slalom on March 13, and the 20k freestyle on March 14. The University of Utah will serve as the event host.
Armstrong will compete at the NCAA Championships for the second straight season. During the EISA season, he tallied 10 top-30 finishes, nine top-20 showings, and four top-10 efforts. He notched a season-best second-place finish in the giant slalom at the Middlebury Carnival/NCAA Regional Championships for his first collegiate podium. In the EISA NCAA rankings, he stood seventh in the giant slalom, 25
th in the slalom, and 11
th overall.
Kearing will make his debut at the NCAA Championships in his final season. During the EISA season, he tallied six top-30 finishes, five top-20 showings, and one top-10 effort. He notched a season-best fifth-place finish in the slalom at the Middlebury Carnival/NCAA Regional Championships. In the EISA NCAA rankings, he stood 30
th in the giant slalom, 12
th in the slalom, and 22
nd overall.
Schwartz will also make her debut at NCAAs in her first full competitive collegiate season. During the EISA season, she tallied seven top-30 finishes, three top-20 showings, and one top-10 effort. She notched a season-best seventh-place finish in the sprint classic at the Vermont Carnival. In the EISA NCAA rankings, she stood 31
st in the freestyle, 16
th in the classic, and 20
th overall.
Harvard has now qualified skiers on both the alpine and nordic sides for the NCAA Championships in each of the last six competitive seasons.
Participants – 74 men and 74 women – are selected on a regional basis from two designated regions for alpine skiing (East and West Regions) and three designated regions for nordic skiing (Central, East and West Regions). Bids are awarded to regions using a formula determined by the skiing committee. A maximum of 12 student-athletes (three per gender per discipline) may be selected from an institution.
