Women's Lacrosse Set to Face off Against No. 18 Princeton on Saturday

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Coming off its first Ivy loss of the season, women's lacrosse is set to host No. 18 Princeton this Saturday at Jordan Field.

In its final home game until Mar. 24, Harvard will face off with the Tigers at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The game will stream live on ESPN+.

WHAT TO KNOW

  • Harvard is looking for its first win over the Tigers since 2012, when it picked up a 10-7 victory over its Ivy rival at Jordan Field.
  • The last time these two teams met at Jordan Field, in 2024, the Crimson narrowly fell in overtime, 18-17, to the nationally ranked Tigers.
  • Princeton leads the all-time series, 38-18.

LAST TIME OUT

  • The Crimson was unable to complete its comeback against Dartmouth in its Ivy League opener, despite a late push from the offense.
  • After jumping out to a 4-0 lead early in the first quarter, the Big Green responded with a six-goal run of its own. Dartmouth went on two separate six-goal runs in the game.
  • Callie Batchelder netted a fourth-quarter hat trick to help the Crimson get back into the game, but two quick goals from the Big Green allowed them to pull away on Saturday afternoon.

  • Caroline Mullahy was the story of the season for the Crimson, rewriting the Harvard, Ivy League, and NCAA record books after a remarkable campaign. She tallied her 100th career assist in the season opener against UAlbany, broke the Harvard program record with her 112th assist against Bryant in late March, and then broke the Ivy League record in her next game against Brown.
  • Mullahy became just the seventh player in program history to record 200 career points after a six-point outing against Yale. She added two assists in the final game of the season to become just the 15th player in NCAA history to record 150+ career assists.
  • Mullahy was joined by Annabel Child as Crimson honorees on the All-Ivy First Team, and both were named USA Lacrosse All-Americans after earning honorable mention recognition.
