CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard Men's Basketball senior guard
Chandler Piggé has earned Ivy League Player of the Week honors after matching his career high with 26 points on Senior Night in Harvard's win vs. Columbia in its regular season finale, the Ivy League conference office announced on Monday afternoon.
Piggé matched his career highs in points (26), field goals (10), and 3-pointers (three) alongside seven rebounds, three assists, and two steals, while shooting 10-of-12 from the field, 3-of-5 from 3-point distance, and 3-of-4 from the free throw line in Harvard's 81-71 win over Columbia. He scored 20 or more points for the fourth time this season and for the sixth time in his career, finishing in double figures for the 19
th time this year and 49
th time in his career.
For the regular season, Piggé averaged 13.1 points, 5.1 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 1.8 steals per game. In Ivy only play, he posted 12.1 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.9 assists, and 1.9 steals per game.
Harvard collected Ivy League Player of the Week honors for the fourth time this season as sophomore guard
Robert Hinton took the award twice – on Dec. 8 and Feb. 2 – and sophomore guard
Tey Barbour captured the accolades on Feb. 23.
