CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard track & field closed the book on another weekend of its 2026 outdoor season, as several Crimson shined at the Spec Towns Invite and the UMass Commonwealth Invitational.
SPEC TOWNS INVITE HARVARD HIGHLIGHTS
- After running a personal-best 13.42 in the prelims, sophomore Abigail Dennis finished in fourth place in the women's 100m hurdles final, as Dennis' time from the prelims ranks third all-time in school history.
- Junior Marta Amani ran a personal-best 53.75 in the women's 400m to finish in seventh place, as that time ranks fifth all-time in school history. Along with Amani, sophomore Kaelin Creagh took 17th with a time of 55.63.
- Two Crimson finished in the top 10 in the women's 100m with wind-aided times, as sophomore Ella Cooper finished in seventh with a time of 11.43 while sophomore Saige Forbes sprinted a 11.45 to take eighth place.
UMASS COMMONWEALTH INVITE HARVARD HIGHLIGHTS
- The field events in Amherst, Massachusetts started with the women's high jump, as first-year Jillene Wetteland finished in third place after clearing 1.66m (5'5.25").
- Over in the men's side of the high jump, senior and team captain Daire Mahon leapt over 1.92m (6'3.5") to finish in third place as well.
- Junior Lilly Hodge finished atop the podium in the women's pole vault after successfully clearing 4.05m (13'3.5").
- In the men's long jump, first-year Robert Satcher posted a jump of 6.49m (21'3.5") to finish in eighth place.
- A scorer at the 2026 Ivy League Heptagonal Indoor Championships in the high jump, first-year Joachim Johnson posted a jump of 14.43m (47'4") to take second in the men's triple jump.
- Junior and team captain Alice Mihas posted a throw of 50.67m (166'3") to finish in second place in the women's hammer throw.
- Action in the field events ended with the men's hammer throw, as first-year Daniel Ye returned to the circle to finish in fifth place with a throw of 55.00m (180'5").
- Over on the track, sophomore Hudson Allain earned the victory in the men's 100m after sprinting a 10.57 in the second heat.
- In the men's 800m, first-year Preston Ellis captured 10th place after running a 1:56.18 in the opening heat of the race.
- First-year Oliver Parker picked up another victory for the Crimson, this one arriving in the men's 400m hurdles with a time of 52.44.
- Allain earned his second win of the day in the men's 200m, stopping the clock at 21.42 to secure first place.

Harvard rolls into the home stretch of the 2026 outdoor regular season next weekend, as the Crimson will compete at the Wake Forest Invite, Tom Jones Invite and Sean Collier Invitational from Thursday, Apr. 16 to Saturday, Apr. 18.
