BOSTON, Mass. – Logan Ip will join the professional lacrosse ranks this Summer after being selected in the 2026 Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) College Draft. A senior midfielder, Ip becomes the second Harvard student-athlete ever selected in the draft and will join his former teammates –
Sam King '25 and
Ray Dearth '25 – in the league this Summer. A team captain, Ip has enjoyed a historic career with the Crimson, helping the team reach new heights with his skill, leadership and character.
One of the most dynamic players in the Ivy League, Ip has amassed 107 points, scored 64 goals and dished out 43 assists for Harvard since 2023. With his help, Harvard has finished as one of the NCAA's top scoring teams in each of the past three seasons. The Corona Del Mar product has recorded a point in 46 of his 51 career games played and has contributed 45 ground balls and eight caused turnovers on the defensive side of the field. A versatile midfielder, Ip has also proven himself as a reliable cover defender, regularly logging time on defense for the Crimson.
Just the 17
th multi-year captain in the nearly 150-year history of Harvard men's lacrosse, Ip has helped lead Harvard to new heights since arriving in Cambridge. The team has totaled 32 wins in his tenure which is already the 12th-most by a single class in the NCAA era. Ip and his classmates have also led Harvard to the 2025 NCAA Tournament and back-to-back Ivy League Tournaments – the first class to ever appear in two consecutive conference tournaments.
An economics concentrator, Ip on set to graduate from Harvard this Spring before joining the PLL in late May.
